September 12, 2011 Meeting:  Guest Speaker, Sports Radio's Max Howell
The best start to every meeting! The lovely GCAC assistants, Emily Simmons and Kayla King.
After 30 minutes of free time to discuss business and sports, it's time to eat another well prepared meal by the Craft Farms Club House.
President Dec McClelland calls the meeting to order.
Kevin Corcoran again keeps the crowd entertained, leading the "Team Reports".
Kevin also gives out the "Crying Towel" to a member whos team did not fair so well the previous week. This meetings recipient was none other than President Dec McClelland, whose Fighting Irish came up a little short 2 weeks in a row. The "Crying Towels" were not ready for presentation!!

Vice President Fred Dickinson proceeds over the meeting while President Dec McClelland enjoyed the California Wine Country.
The most uncoveted award you can receive, "The Crying Towel", was awarded to Ed Cluck for the 38-14 loss to Alabama.
Ed Cluck tries....in vain...to explain what hapened in the Arkansas-Alabama game.
Ed has lost his appeal, and is now the owner of this meetings "Crying Towel".
An additional Crying Towel award was presented, in abstensia, to Gator fan Linda Pintarelli. This was for a combined loss of 79-21 to Alabama and LSU.

Jan 23, 2012-- Coach Larry Blakeney--Head Football Coach-Troy University.

Ray Perkins was born in Petal, Mississippi. He attended the University of Alabama, playing football 1964–1966. He played for the legendary coach Bear Bryant and was a teammate of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath. The Crimson Tide won national championships in both 1964 and 1965, and Southeastern Conference championships in 1964, 1965, and 1966. During his senior year, he was named team captain. He was also selected as an All-American in 1966.

He played for the National Football League's Baltimore Colts as a wide receiver from 1967–1971, under coach Don Shula. Perkins caught a 68-yard touchdown pass from Johnny Unitas in the 1970 AFC Championship Game to lead the Colts to a 27–17 victory over the Oakland Raiders and a berth in Super Bowl V.
